Pricing questions

Is the price I'm quoted the price I pay?

Yes. The prices shown are our standard rates for residential properties. For specific inspection requirements or properties over 5 bedrooms, please contact us directly on 1300 787 327

Do I need to be at the property during the inspection?

No, you don't need to be present during the inspection.

Once you book with us, we arrange access and manage the entire process for you. After the inspection is complete, your inspector will personally call you to walk through their key findings and important observations in detail.

Are there hidden fees or charges?

No. The price you're quoted when you book is the price you pay. Report delivery by email, follow-up phone calls, and 12 months of advice are all included. We do not charge extra for roof space access, subfloor access, or same-day reporting.

Do you offer discounts for multiple inspections?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount when you book three or more stage inspections for a new build project at the time of your initial booking.

We also provide a combined Building and Timber Pest inspection, carried out in one visit by a single inspector. This packaged service offers better value than booking the inspections individually.

Existing clients booking repeat inspections may also qualify for discounted or commercial rates.

When do I pay?

Payment is due on the day of inspection, prior to report release. We accept bank transfer, credit card and offer weekly interest-free payment options. See our payment plan page for details.

What if the property is very large?

Properties over with more than 5 bedrooms, secondary structures such as a granny flat or workshops, or where located on acreage, may attract a additional inspection fees. Contact us directly on 1300 787 327 to confirm if any additional fee applies.

Why is the Combined Building + Pest inspection priced differently from booking separately?

The Combined inspection is delivered as one visit with a single inspector conducting a continuous assessment. This approach reduces travel time and scheduling complexity compared to two separate appointments, allowing us to provide the service more efficiently while keeping the process simple and convenient for buyers.

When will I receive my report?

Your detailed report will be delivered on the same day as the inspection, usually by the end of the day, subject to access and availability.

After the inspection, your inspector will personally call you to walk you through the key findings.

How long does an inspection take?

It depends on the size, age and type of property. As a guide, most pre-purchase inspections take 1–2 hours on site, with comprehensive inspections taking longer. The inspector stays as long as needed to complete a thorough assessment.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance, so both you and the property owner are covered for the inspection.

What happens if you find a major defect?

We document it in detail in your report: what it is, where it is, and our recommendations, with photographs and plain-language severity ratings, so you and your settlement agent know exactly where you stand.

Do you inspect across Australia?

We cover metropolitan Perth in WA and Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong in NSW. Regional inspections can be quoted on request: call 1300 787 327.
